The Wonky EP ~ OUT NOW!

Listen, download or buy the CD!

The Wonky EP: coming 1st June 2015!

It’s true – we finally recorded our debut EP! We did it in the stunning surroundings of St Mark’s church in Levenshulme and we were joined on drums by the amazing Phil Howley – read more about it and see the photos on our shiny new website.

It is currently being pressed and will be available to buy on CD and download from 1st June. We are doing a very limited run of the CD so if you want one, don’t hang about.

We are officially launching The Wonky EP on Saturday 6th June at the Klondyke in Levenshulme, Manchester. Phil Howley will be joining us once again on drums so it proves to be very special. Hope to see you there.

Call out for Levenshulme Musicians

Following the excitement of the Portas Pilot video, I’ve decided to try and put a band together to do a special version of Ready For Love.

I’m open to all offers of instrumentation – the only proviso is that you must live in Levenshulme.

I’d especially like to hear from a drummer or percussionist and some low end brass (are there any sousaphone players in Lev? There must be a tuba player, surely?) but whatever instrument you play, if you’re up for giving it a go, get in touch!

Lou Armer – Out Of Her Sight (Demo)

Another guitar demo. But the next one will be a ukulele song, I promise!

The guitar is a little sloppy on this but I can’t imagine playing steel string at the moment. I pick up my classical every once in a while but that’s it. Most guitars just seem far too unwieldly after playing the ukulele, especially when you’re a bari player.

One day, I will acquire the perfect sized guitar but it’s not going to happen any time soon so let the uke tunes commence forthwith!
